I love that there are two people on the cover this time and although it certainly isn't beating the cover of City of Bones, it comes in as a worthy runner up! :-)

Oh, and on a totally unrelated note, my google reader has 1000+ unread posts. Gah. Daunting much? SO close to clicking the "mark all as read" button...but I don't want to miss an exciting new cover or release details! Such is life as a blogger, I suppose! Enjoy! :-)

Okay, this cover is clever! I love those kinds of artworks where you snap your fingers and think, "Dang, I wish I'd thought of that!" It's simple, eye-catching and you can figure a bit out about the plot just by looking at the cover. That's when you know the designers have nailed it :-)

I love the moody, warm colours on this artwork. The photographs in the background are an intriguing element and I'm left curious about the novel. There's not a lot happening in the image, but the hanging photos and the bowed head speak loudly.

I quite like this cover! Very moody and mysterious...I love the swirling mist/smoke around her hands. I don't get the significance of the deer...but haven't read the first book either :-P Very nice cover!

At first...I didn't like this cover. However, now owning this book in person has changed my outlook totally! I really do love it now, I think it's gorgeous...and I can't say what changed my mind Perhaps it was the detail that wasn't shown on a computer screen! Either way, beautiful cover and a dang good book, so far!

My BIG complaint about this cover is that the dang author quote obstructs the view! LOL. IN addition to the totally gorgeous abs, those runes are amazing. Beautiful. Loved this cover from the very start!

I'm baaacccckkkk! The snow was FABULOUS, some great days with sunshine, not a breath of wind, no one in sight...and those warm hot chocolates and cute lifties are pretty unbeatable :-) I've powered through reading a lot of books, so reviews coming up shortly! I'm going to the snow - WHOOT! So I'll be busy skiing for a week instead of blogging, haha, but you will hear about the trip when I get back! :) So don't stress if you don't hear from me :-D I am also waaaaayyyyy behind on emails, so if you haven't heard from me, thats why! I love the expression in this one, and also the way her hair drifts across her face, It's very arty and emotive and I quite like the misty background behind the text. I'll admit to knowing nothing about this book other than its beautiful cover! (It's becoming a trend lately!).

This is super cool! I think its the colours, LOL. The blue hair (blue hair is awesome!), green gloves and that checkered background totally sucked me in! I also love that the text basically conceals her identity. Very cool :-)

I think this is a new version of this cover (I haven't read any of Maria's books, so I don't really know) but I saw this the other day on another book blog and thought...wow...pretty...shiny, almost sparkly starfish! :-) I love the blues and the glow to the starfish. Besides, starfish are just awesome. :-)

This is possibly my favourite cover in the Wicked Lovely series so far. I have yet to read Radiant Shadows, but I really enjoy the sparkly-ness of the covers. (Perhaps it's a Sparkle week? haha!). The purples and creams are so pretty. I believe it's Donia on the front? Looking forward to this book. :-) Team Keenan!

I love this cover. The colours kind of remind me of The Ghost and the Goth. It's particularly cute and I think the reflection trick is really neat! I also like the other version of the cover (the sparkly one, haha! Also the one I own) however, sorry to my sparkly friends, I love this one the most :-)

This cover is beautiful and hypnotic and struck me straight away when I first saw it a few days ago! I have an obsession with eyes (particularly human and horse eyes) so this immediately appealed. The shadowing and the subtle hint of sparkles are fabulous, as well as the epic irises. I'm definitely looking forward to having a cover like this in my book collection! Watch out for Emma Michaels - debut author with a fab first cover art coming right up! :-)

Bree Despain recently revealed the cover art for the highly anticipated sequel to The Dark Divine. I love it - it matches the first cover perfectly, but still brings a new, fresh twist to the series. I love the colours and, like I say most of the time, can't wait to have it on my shelves! I'll admit to knowing nothing about this book. Zip. Nada. Nothing. BUT...I saw this cover and thought it was amazing. Seriously. How creative?! I've never seen anything like it! Now THAT is artwork! I'm going to find out alll about this book now, thanks to this super awesome cover. It's very Alice-In-Wonderland-Esque...for some reason I cannot name. Beautiful - such an innovatice use of black and white!

This is a cover that recently made itself known to the YA Book Blogging community. I love the purples, the twining, vine-like writing and I LOVE that dress. I hope we can expect good things from a book with a cover as striking as that!

I adored this book and the first thing that drew me to it was the striking cover. The red and black is always a winner for me and I love the style of Fantaskey's covers (Jekel Loves Hyde was done in a similar way). I can't resist a picture of people dancing like these too and it may be really superficial...but that guy has a super-cute mouth, LOL.

I have yet to read this but I love this cover!!! There's not much to say about it other than "awwwww" :-D "Eyes Like Stars" also has a super attractive cover and it is for this reason I'm hoping to pick up these books in the near future (even if thats totally shallow!).

This book has a darker premise and I am going to be really brave and drop my light, fluffy books and give this one a go... *gulp*. I've heard good things about it but I definitely adore that cover. Maybe because it's so sweet :) I love covers that are emotive like that and not all dramatic, gasping female models.

Hands down the sweetest cover of all time. One of those book covers you look at and audibly go, "Awwww" and walk with it in your hands to the cash register without even looking at the synopsis because you just NEED to have that book cover on your shelves! Not long to go until this one is released! :)
